OLIVIA WOZNY IS A DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR DEDICATED TO CRAFTING CLEVER, PLAYFUL & THOUGHTFUL DESIGNS.

With a love of bold colour, display fonts and heavy contrast, I am determined to make all design projects — no matter how big or small — stand out. My areas of expertise include graphic design, illustration and art direction. I currently study graphic design at Humber Polytechnic’s School of Media, Creative Arts and Design while also pursuing freelance opportunities to build my skills and portfolio within the industry.

I have had a passion for creating since childhood, experimenting across mediums including visual arts in digital and print, sculpture, resin and even jewelry. Some of my favourite assignments are those that allow me tap into my love of visual art and music to create album artwork, branding and merchandise for artists and bands.

My background in film and television, particularly in production management and design, has given me an experienced understanding of the design needs for an array of creative projects. My work as a freelancer has only enhanced those instincts.

so, why the name “laundry day”?

The way I see it, the brain is a washing machine and our ideas are the clothes tumbling around. Some get taken out of the wash and put into the dryer — or eventually get checked off a list — while others remain stragglers in the lost-sock pile.

My goal is to match your lost socks (or ideas), or even pair them with some of my own. I’m here to help you achieve your brand's goals, so you can see the things that have bounced around in your mind come to fruition.

And besides, who doesn't love fresh laundry?
